Messiah King of Glory
I am calling you, my beloved children, deeper into my heart to experience more of my glory. Deep calls to deep. The further you journey into my majesty, the more you will understand your purpose and calling in this short life. I fill your lungs with breath, I spark every beat of your heart, I am with you through every challenge, and my love for you cannot be measured. I created you to display my greater glory through your life.
I am your Salvation Shepherd, and you are the crown of my creation. I shaped you in your mother’s womb, and I have seen all your days: an unpredictable adventure from first to last breath. Before I set the first star in the heavens, I knew that you would not be able to follow me without help. So, I designed you to fully depend upon me.
You do not know what you need. I know what you need, and what your deepest need will always be is me. I made you beautiful, but not perfect. I made you strong, but not wise. I crowned creation with your presence, but I left a space in your heart for worship. As the earth spins along her path around the sun, I am moving you ever closer to myself, so that you will taste and see the truth, hear my voice, and surrender to my call. Be still and listen, and you will hear my Holy Spirit clearly revealing my perfect will.
+ Blessings For Your Family +
I hope these verses and prayers will be a blessing and encouragement to your family.
Creation Shepherd > May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works – he who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches the mountains, and they smoke. I will sing to the LORD all my life. (Psalm 104: 31-33)
Father, we sing of your glory, and we praise your holy name. We celebrate your righteous love, and we surrender to your perfect, sovereign plans for our lives.
Glory Canopy > Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory will be a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. (Isaiah 4:5-6)
Father, we are ready for your return, and we cannot wait to witness your glory! We know you have made us for more, and we want to live now for what is soon to come.
Living One > Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. (Revelation 1:17-18)
Father, thank you for sending the Living One to rescue us from from our sin and deliver us into your eternal kingdom.
Our vision for the Barnabas Post project is to develop and send out waves of encouraging and comforting devotional letters and prophetic photo art to disciples of Jesus all over the world every month.
