Reignfall Letter

My brothers and sisters, teammates and companions, friends and fellow pilgrims on our adventurous journey to Zion City! I praise the Lord for your life, and our mission team is praying for you, that you will be filled to overflowing with the power and spiritual blessings of Jesus’ Holy Spirit. Let Jesus’ kingdom come and will be done through you.

Let us remember today in the context of adoption and sonship, that through Jesus Christ we have already been given every spiritual blessing in Christ flowing from God’s heavenly realms. (Ephesians 1:3-4) Our God is the Ancient of Days whose universal authority is established, his divine power has overcome the god of this age, and his victory in the worship wars of the nations has already been prophesied! (Daniel 7:13-14)

So let the reign of Jesus fall upon our generation. Thank you Father for giving every one of your sons and daughters the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16) Thank you for delivering slaves out of unseen prisons into favored seats at the Lamb’s wedding feast. (Galatians 4:5-7) Thank you Immanuel for never leaving or forsaking us, that nothing and no one can ever separate us from your presence or love after we decide to follow Jesus. (Psalm 139:1-12) We rest in you, and we pray for all peoples to receive Jesus’ salvation.

Glory Transformation > While Jesus was talking, a shining cloud came over them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased. Listen to him!” When the disciples heard the voice, they were so terrified that they threw themselves face downward on the ground. Jesus came to them and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid!” (Matthew 17:5-7 GNT)

Holy Vision > Stephen, filled by the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven. He saw God’s glory, with Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” Then the people screamed at the top of their voices, covered their ears, and together rushed against him [to stone him to death]. (Acts 7:55-57 HCSB)

True Faith > “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.” (Revelation 19:11-13 NIV)

Prayer > Father, thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to help us perceive Jesus’ powerful reignfall in our lives every day. Maranatha!

Beloved Friends,

Thank you for standing with us during 2018. We are honored by your desire to journey forward alongside our team as we witness together all our Awesome Father is doing around the world through this ministry.

Blazing Trees creates the most innovative resources for frontier missions in the world, equipping followers of Jesus to fulfill the Great Commission – without boundaries.

As we look forward to 2019, thank you for standing among hundreds of others who are praying fervently and giving generously so that our Blazing Trees team can continue our momentum in making the complex simple.

Here is just part of what we will be doing in 2019:

Producing the Storytellers book – 250 Bible stories in 21 story sets with drawings, teaching notes, discussion guides, and training videos on our YouTube channel.
Establishing 120 Maranatha Storyteller teams worldwide: disciples who pray and tell stories.
Encouraging and praying with many broken and suffering missionaries scattered across the earth.

Our hearts are full of gratitude this Christmas knowing we have loving and loyal companions like you and your family praying for and taking care of our mission team.

Have you heard the Good News? Our God so loved the world that he sent his one and only begotten Son to rescue the world, and anyone who calls on his name and believes that God raised him from the dead will be saved. Glory, hallelujah! Hosanna in the highest!

The shepherds saw Jesus and rejoiced; the wise men from the East saw Jesus and rejoiced; Simeon and Anna saw Jesus and rejoiced; and all the hosts of heaven saw the Word wrapped up and embraced in Mary’s arms and shouted for joy, singing worship anthems unto the Most High. Our Messiah King has come, and he will return soon. Maranatha, praise the Lord!

Storytellers Bible Project

Announcement > We just published a new page on our website showcasing the Storytellers Bible project.

The Storytellers Bible project is one innovative approach to Bible storytelling. We believe that all anyone needs to make disciples is God’s presence and power through the indwelling Holy Spirit and the stories of the Bible.

After a lot of prayer and discussions, our team was led by the Holy Spirit to begin developing these simple drawings that anyone can use and adapt to their own style of art and tribal cultures.

Our vision is to equip this generation to become a host of mobile, Spirit-filled storytellers scattered across all the nations. Maranatha!

Below, we will add new story lessons often for you to use in discipleship with your family, friends, neighbors, and whatever harvest field you find yourself in each day.

All we need to do is walk in the Spirit and ask him what story he wants to tell to each person around us. Each story is a spiritual key from heaven to open up hearts and align lives to his kingdom.

Storyteller Discipleship

The following activities will help you remember each story, apply wisdom to your own life, and tell the story to others.

Listen to the story.
Draw the story.
Tell the story with the drawings.
Draw your own pictures to illustrate the story.
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal wisdom in the story.
What is the Holy Spirit asking you to do next?
Draw a map of your family and friends and pray for them.
Go and tell the story to someone. Discuss the story.
Disciple others to become Spirit-filled storytellers.

God the Father, Son, & Spirit (heart, crown, flame) > The foundation of our lives and mission is adoption by, fellowship with, and obedience to Father Yahweh. (1 Peter 2:6-7) Jesus’ greatest desire is for his disciples to be in unity with him and each other. (John 17:21) The Spirit of God speaks truth that sets us free. He is our Guide and Helper. He ministers Jesus’ revelation to us every day. (John 16:13) Our lifelong joy is to abide in Jesus Christ by listening to and keeping in step with his Holy Spirit. (Revelation 3:22)

Abiding/Vision (heat/aroma) > Jesus Christ is the vine and we are his branches. We must abide/remain in him to be fruitful. (John 15:5) We need to receive Father’s vision to flourish and Jesus Christ’s wisdom to keep hope alive through suffering. (Proverbs 29:18)

Evangelists (door) > Healthy disciples have a deep burden for lostness and share the good news with grace and boldness. (2 Timothy 4:5) Judgment Day is coming soon, like a thief in the night. We are desperate to see the lost come home. (Revelation 20:11-15)

Shepherds (communion table) > Our Master’s heart is compassionate. He shares his love for all nations; to love our neighbor and to care for the foreigner. (Mark 6:34) Healthy disciples are faithful to communion, compassion, and community. (Hebrews 10:23-25)

Prophets (water) > Our bodies, resources, time, passions, and relationships all belong to Yahweh. Our daily worship is to die to self and surrender to our Father’s will. (Romans 12:1-2) We must practice the fruit of the Holy Spirit and flow freely with him. (Galatians 5:22-25)

Teachers (sword) > Healthy disciples meditate day and night on God’s Word. (Joshua 1:8-9) Jesus Christ and his divine revelation are the cornerstone of all we are, all we believe, and all we do. (1 Peter 2:4-5) His Word & Spirit are all we need for abundant life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Apostles (mountain) > Our Father wants every person to be saved. (1 Timothy 2:3-6) One day, Yahweh’s glory will cover the whole earth. (Habakkuk 2:14) Our apostolic mission is to receive the Holy Spirit’s power to be Jesus’ witnesses locally and globally. (Acts 1:8)

Mission (fire houses) > Jesus Christ will return when his Church makes disciples in every tribe, tongue, nation, and people. (Matthew 24:14) Jesus is the Sower, the harvest field is the world, and his disciples are the good seed scattered worldwide. (Matthew 13:37-38)

Activity > Drink coffee or tea together. Pray and discuss your leaders and mission teams. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach each leader how to spend their time based on their gifts and passions.

Prophecy >

My precious sons and daughters, I love you. Sometimes you forget my truth when you feel alone and forsaken, dry and poured out and running empty on fading fumes. Rest today in my anointing, hear me call, know my voice, surrender your plans, obey my commands, walk freely step by step with my Holy Spirit.

Behold! I am your Salvation Stronghold, your Strong Tower Refuge. The earth is filled with many strongholds; yet, I have overcome them all, and I have released to you spiritual weapons with divine power to demolish fortified enemy encampments. Embrace my gifts, receive my anointing, and go forth to set captives free!

I am your Fruitful Vineyard and Rushing Waters. I designed you and I have clearly revealed my will. My heart is not hidden, lost in a distant wilderness. Though your bones were dry and dead, unable to live or grow, learn or move, I breathe upon you my breath of life, and I sing new songs over dry bones so they will rise up and live a new life of joy and hope.

I will do whatever it takes, no matter how hard the journey, to gather my people together in unity around my Word and Spirit so all nations will come home. Behold my glory and come alive.

Prayer >

Speak, LORD, for your servants hear you. You are the only One who knows us, for no one else created our bodies, souls, and spirits. You are our Creator, Lord of heaven and earth; the earth is your footstool and the stars sing your praises from the dawn of the universe to the new heavens you will create after Judgement Day.

When we seek you first with all our hearts, forsaking the need to understand “how” or “why,” you lead us Wise Counselor, you guide us, Faithful Shepherd, you protect us, Ancient of Days, you train us in warfare, Master Commander.

Thank you for your victory, LORD of Hosts. All the galaxies move and breathe and find their identity and purpose in you. You are faithful, Father, and though we strive to understand you, the truth is that we cannot know everything about you. Your mysteries and eternal glory make us choose to live by faith or live for self. We only have one precious life to make this decision, and we choose to walk by faith in our Risen King of Glory.

Please forgive us when we assume we know how to follow you, that we have this master plan backed by effective resources and crafted strategies; the horses and chariots and armies of our generation. No, we rest in your daily revelation. Your sovereign plans are perfect. Please keep us humble in this unpredictable adventure. We behold your majesty today.

Passages >

Listening Ears: Our Father speaks to his sons and daughters. To hear his voice, we must learn to quiet our lives, humble our minds, listen for his call, and discern his revelation. (1 Samuel 3:8-11)

Salvation Refuge: Jesus Christ is an All Nations Salvation Refuge. He has unveiled the deceptive seduction of the raging dragon and claimed the earth’s kingdoms as his own. (Isaiah 25:4-9)
