Night Watch Prayer

Heavenly Father, the night is here. We confess that we need you, we depend upon you for safety and protection tonight.

Lord, you are our Blazing Fire, keeping me and my loved ones safe in the darkness according to your Word in Malachi 3:2. “But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal, or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes.”

Our enemies cannot face you, Father. Your fire is warm and your presence makes me safe, shining light in the darkness as we rest in your arms, sheltered in your grace.

Your are our Fortified Fortress according to your Word in Psalms 62:5-6, “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.”

No person or evil spirit can shake our home tonight; for we rest within your perfect righteousness. I plead the victorious blood of Jesus Christ as a covering over us.

You are our Glorious Sword according to your Word in Deuteronomy 33:28-29, “ So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew. Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”

Thank you for shielding us from enemy attacks. Thank you for setting apart this holy sanctuary for us to dwell securely in green pastures and beside quiet, peaceful waters.

You are our Protective Shade according to your Word in Psalms 121:5-6, “The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.”

Thank you for protecting us Father. I believe you, Lord. I believe you watch over me and my family each day and through the dangers of the night watches. We receive your protection, resting in your perfect love, beautiful mercy, and overflowing grace.

You are our Shield & Strength according to your Word in Psalms 91:3-4, “Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

Thank you for rescuing us from the enemy’s snares. Thank you for covering us with your anointing and sheltering us under your glory canopy. We celebrate your faithfulness, singing your praises as we fall asleep into healing refreshment.

You are our Wall of Fire according to your Word in Zechariah 2:5, “For I,” says the LORD, “will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.”

Thank you for surrounding us with an impenetrable wall of righteous fire that consumes every fiery dart the enemy’s forces send forth to oppress us. Please, Father, teach us how to experience your glory flowing within our midst. Thank you for your presence, thank you for your power, and thank you for your comfort and peace.

We know, God of Heaven, that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against satanic principalities and evil powers of darkness veiled in unseen spiritual realms.

Thank you for giving us spiritual armor imbued with divine power to put on so that we will resist the enemy’s attempts to advance into our hearts and lives, and in the aftermath of every attack to remain standing in victory and praising your name.

I buckle up the belt of truth around my waist, and I fasten on the breastplate of righteousness.

I tie on the gospel of peace sandals, and I take up the shield of faith. The faith you are cultivating within my mind and heart extinguishes every death arrow the enemy fires in my direction to catch me off guard and distract me from worshipping you in Spirit and in Truth all night. I confess my idols to you, and I repent of all my sins.

I put on the helmet of salvation, and I wield the Word sword of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, please teach me how to pray at all times in you, staying alert with all perseverance and intercession for all believers worldwide in our generation.

Heavenly Father, please send angels to be stationed in our home, to guard us through the night watches as we sleep according to your Word in Psalms 91:11-12, “For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.”

Heavenly Father, please protect our dreams and seal off all access to our minds tonight according to your Word in Proverbs 3:24-26, “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down,  your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.”

Lord, I release my faith that you are our Perfect Protector and Night Watch Guardian  according to your Word in John 16:33, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

We are safe. We are secure. We are protected. We are sealed. We rest in peace.

Thank you Abba Father, Messiah Son, and Holy Spirit. Maranatha, Lord Jesus!

Battles Belong To Me Prophecy

battles belong to me.png

Your battles belong to me. I am your Holy Warrior in Heaven. As storms rage all around you, as suffering threatens your faith, as despair wages war on your hope, lift up your eyes above and beyond your life to see my victory riding upon the wings of the dawn.

Arm yourself every day for battle, for I have clothed you in righteousness, I have anointed you with power, I have sealed you with perfection, I have captivated your heart with unconditional love, I have baptized your mind with destiny-shaping wisdom.

Your battles belong to me. I am your Fortified Rampart, your Indestructible Fortress, your Most High God. I am the Almighty King of the Galaxies, and I rest my feet upon the earth. I fight your battles. I protect you with my warrior angels. I raise up a pillar of swirling cloud around you by day and a pillar of blazing fire through the night watches.

I will allow you to feel alone only for a breath of eternity, for I want you to share in Jesus’ suffering that you may also share in his great glory. As the Messiah King laid down his glory to taste condemnation and death, so must you follow in his footsteps: to surrender your life, to give me your dreams, to trust me as I fight all your battles.

Father, we anticipate the day when you build new walls of precious stones in Zion. No longer will we have walls that keep the enemy at bay. We will see walls that reflect your glory made of stones that capture your majesty. How we long to see those mighty walls in heaven.

Thank you for giving us spiritual weapons with divine power to wage war effectively against our adversary who lurks in the shadows and seduces your creation into the lake of fire. Yes, Lord, we will demolish enemy strongholds in Jesus’ name by Jesus’ authority for Jesus’ glory. Through your power, we advance the front lines.

We will fight the good fight, Lord. And the fight is to remain in you day and night: to reject the snares of our flesh, the ways of this world, the temptations of the dragon. We will walk by faith, we will worship in Spirit and truth and sing of your coming kingdom.

Freedom Fortress: In Christ, we are safe and secure. We have been set free by his blood and sealed forever with his Spirit. Let us practice our freedom. (Psalm 91)

Martyr’s Anointing: The greatest blessing from heaven is to share in the sufferings of Jesus Christ, our Man of Sorrows Messiah King of Glory. (Hebrews 11:32-40)

Confession Covenant: Every day, the Holy Spirit teaches and trains us how to honor and fulfill our covenant with God; to love and obey him. (1 Timothy 6:11-16)
