seraphim river draw circleWelcome to our Seraphim River project!

Purpose: to teach disciples how to pray in the Holy Spirit.

Jacob’s Ladder > Jacob dreamed that there was a ladder resting on the earth and reaching up into heaven, and he saw angels of God going up and coming down the ladder. (Genesis 28:12 NCV)

Isaiah’s Seraphim > Attending the Lord were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” (Isaiah 6:2-3 NLT)

Ezekiel’s Cherubim > Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, the face of a lion, the face of an ox, and the face of an eagle. They had two wings spreading out upward and two other wings covering its body. Wherever the Spirit would go, they would go. (Ezekiel 1:10-12 NIV)

Jesus’ Angels > The devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. The devil said, “I will give you all these things if you will fall down and worship me.” Jesus told him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.” Then the devil left Jesus, and angels came and began to serve him. (Matthew 4:8-11 CSB)

Heavenly Host > Again I looked, and I heard angels, thousands and millions of them! They stood around the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders, and sang in a loud voice: “The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory, and praise!” (Revelation 5:11 GNT)

As we pray in the Holy Spirit, we are joining in with all the faithful creatures of the heavenly realms to praise and celebrate the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Praying the Scriptures

James Harvey circleHi, my name is James, and I lead our Seraphim River project, an initiative of our Maranatha Vision project.

Growing up as a missionary kid in China and the Philippines, I saw how absolutely critical a lifestyle and culture of worship and prayer was to sustainable missions.

Please consider supporting our prayer ministry financially, and please tell others about our free prayer resources on our website.
