Welcome to our Barnabas Post Project
The biblical name Barnabas means “son of comfort.”
As Jesus’ disciples, we are called to “fill our lives with the message about Christ in all its richness, teaching and counseling each other with all the wisdom Jesus gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” (Colossians 3:16 NLT)
Our project logo is a drawing of disciples reading encouragement letters they just received from a mailbox standing in a beautiful fountain overflowing from a stone foundation illustrating how our love, joy, peace, and hope are all cultivated every day of our lives by resting in our Father’s love, listening to our Messiah’s revelations, and delighting in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The Barnabas Post project vision is to develop and send out waves of encouraging and comforting devotional letters and prophetic photo art to disciples of Jesus all over the world every month.
Here’s what you can expect when you begin receiving our Barnabas Post letters:
- Prophecy: We believe God is always speaking, so we listen to his voice and write down what we hear to encourage our fellow disciples.
- Passages: God give us three Scripture passages each letter that ground the prophetic message in God’s Word.
- Prayer: We pray and receive what the Holy Spirit is saying to the churches today.
- Photo: We overlay each word of knowledge upon a beautiful nature photo.
