Restoration – Galatians 4

Restoration Year

We heard our Father say, “This is a year of restoration! This year is very special; set apart and anointed to make an eternal difference within many decades to come. I am your Divine Potter, Sovereign Savior, and Sustaining Spirit. I will awaken my people wherever you have lost vision, and I will draw many souls wandering in the darkness towards my blazing light.”

“You will see restoration unfold this year in three ways: repositioning, realignment, and resurrection. Some of my people are in the wrong place; therefore, I will reposition you into a new place. Others have been in the right place for a season of their lives, and this year that season comes to an end. I will move you into your next assignment baptized in fresh vision.”

“Still others are planted in the right soils, but you are facing the wrong direction. This year, I will realign you towards the right path that I have prepared for this faith journey. Some of my children are currently investing their lives and treasures in pursuits that seem good or strategic, but ultimately they lead to spiritual death. This year, I will shine my light on those hidden idols of your hearts to expose them. You will receive forgiveness and a new hope.”

Restoration > And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. (Galatians 4:6-7 NLT)

Reposition > And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia to help us.” Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. (Acts 16:9-10 NKJV)

Realign > Christ’s message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct each other with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father. (Colossians 3:16-17 GNB)

Resurrection > I greatly rejoice in my God; for he has clothed me in a robe of righteousness, as a groom wears a turban and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. (Isaiah 61:10-11 HCSB)

Heavenly Father, you are our Great Commission Architect, you are our Devastated City Redeemer, and you are our Every Nation Rescuer. Please teach us how you are raising the  dead to life. Please expose our idols, touch our blind eyes, sing into our deaf ears, and breathe over our dry bones. We welcome your awakening!

Thank you for giving us the name “Restoration” for 2018. We stand ready to witness this year unfold before our eyes, a glorious story we have never heard before; a life-changing tale we could never imagine in our wildest dreams. We love you, Lord. We stand ready to serve you.

Our vision for the Barnabas Post project is to develop and send out waves of encouraging and comforting devotional letters and prophetic photo art to disciples of Jesus all over the world every month.
